On Keeping Your House Clean

One of the most common praises we get from clients is how clean we keep our job sites during remodels. Homeowners are surprised at the level of attention we pay to making sure dust and debris don’t get out of hand on a daily basis and overall. Dust and the accumulation of debris are inevitable on all sizes of construction projects, but our protection protocols allow for easy clean up and prevention of unwanted dust in living areas outside of the working area. Adhesive carpet protection, durable floor protection for hardwoods and tile, vacuums attached to tools, and even temporary dust walls are some of the simple but effective methods we utilize in order to keep homes clean.

Our Year in numbers:

Thank you for a great year!

Welcome to our new home

Clients and friends, welcome to our new website!

It has received a complete overhaul, and we really think you’ll enjoy it. Being the design-build contractor that we are, we had it stripped down to the studs and completely redesigned and rebuilt by a local qualified expert. Be sure to browse through the professional photographs of some of our recently completed projects in the gallery. If you are interested in pricing information, we have developed a guide on starting costs for the specific types of remodels we perform. You will also now find a detailed breakdown of our process, from initial consultation to hand-off, that we employ on every one of our remodel projects. Social Media links and industry affiliations and memberships are easily accessible, as is all of our contact information.

So come take a look, learn a little bit more about CW Construction, and let us know what you think!

Job Opening: Lead Carpenter

We are based in Olympia and work mainly in Thurston County, but occasionally work in Pierce and Mason Counties. We perform all phases of bathroom, kitchen, and whole house remodels. An ideal candidate should have strong experience in all aspects of residential remodels, including but not limited to demolition, framing, door and window installation, trim work, reading plans, and general carpentry. Cabinet installation and finish work skills are a must. We take pride in our attention to detail and excellent craftsmanship. We strive to maintain a positive workplace environment, and the relationships within our company and with our clients are very important to us. A lead carpenter will be asked to represent the company on the jobsite and will have frequent interactions with homeowners and subcontractors. Therefore a positive attitude and a willingness to work with others while being a leader are qualities we are looking for. Other qualifications: reliable transportation and valid driver’s license, own carpentry tools, drug free, communication skills, ability to work independently or with a team, and general punctuality and professionalism that comes with maintaining a full-time job.

Pay is competitive and based on experience. Benefits we offer include Paid Time Off, work phone, and a generous Profit Share program that incentivizes and rewards our team for successful projects.

We are a small but close team and are eager to add the right candidate to help with our busy schedule!

Please email your resume if you are interested in being a part of the team.
